Church San Giovanni Battista inside the walls: it is one of the oldest churches in Arcevia. Completely restored in 1600, it houses the Casa del Parco della Gola della Rossa e di Frasassi.
...Along the current Corso Mazzini, between the church of Sant’Agata and the Giardini Leopardi is the simple stone façade of the no longer officiated church of San Giovanni Battista whose first records date back to 1285 and belong to the Arcevian monastery of Sant’Angelo in Monte Camiliano. After having housed the municipal library and the historical archive of the city, today it houses the Casa del Parco della Gola della Rossa and Frasassi.
