In the historical centre of Ostra Vetere listening to great saxophonists from all over the world
Montesaxnovo Festival – Federico Mondelci, one of the most important saxophonists in the world, is in the palaces of the Ostra Vetere Old Town organizes during the month of August in the city where he chose to live this festival which has as its main protagonist the saxophone. The festival formula is divided into a series of concerts with international artists and a section dedicated to training with a masterclass of saxophone with musicians from around the world.

Federico Mondelci, born in Ostra Vetere in 1958, graduated in saxophone at the Conservatory of Pesaro. He studied singing, composition and conducting. He completed his studies at the Consevatorio Superiore in Bordeaux under the guidance of Jean Marie Londeix, graduating with honors. For thirty years he has been one of the most appreciated interpreters of the international music scene such as Teacher, Camerist, Soloist and Conductor.
